Its better if when users find spam, they report it as then - eventually - our automated spam control learns it and stops it via that mechanism.

At the moment around about 70% of the spam we get in the excel community is regarding quickbooks and people posting support numbers for quickbooks. For this reason we took the unusual step to ban the product name. We do not routinely ban any product name on the Microsoft Tech Community but we do take a very dim view of posts that either seek to mislead our customers or are blatant spam.
We keep all such content filters under review and may remove quickbooks in the future. Obviously, we don't share details on which names are banned but it is something we keep under review.
You may need to add some variations to the list.

All from newly registered accounts, which all only care about Q..B and apparently are smart enough to even know about the blocked word. On the positive, it looks like they haven't managed to update the answer itself to bypass the filter just yet :D

Here are two more: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/outlook/quick-b00ks-crash-when-opening-company-file/m-p/4186955
https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/sharepoint/quick-b00ks-error-r6025-how-to-resolve/m-p/4186797

In any case, such efforts are usually futile, you cannot keep up with all the variations. I'd still urge you to consider implementing some restrictions for newly registered users instead.

Allen , IMHO, that was not a spam, that is the question why Excel and Q..B don't work work together in some situation. Yes, question is more for Q..B, but for Excel people who work with Q..B as well.
