New User Group Form Error

I have a user group over at Power Platform Community, and we'd like to expand our reach by creating an in-person group here for Power Platform and M365 users in our area.

However, when I try to submit the form for a new user group, I get this error: GraphQL Error: 400 Form.graphql.error.requestFailed

It doesn't seem to matter if I logout, login, use another browser/computer. I've checked all fields, removed special characters. Appreciate your help.

Thank you for the report, we are investigating and will follow up when we have more to share.

    • Hi Allen. Is there any update? If not, couldn't you create the group manually?

  • I can confirm this is reproducible and appears to be a platform issue rather than a field-validation issue.

I attempted to create a virtual user group named "Comunidad Copilot España" using the official creation page:

    https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/c/create-user-group/page

    Initial result

    - POST /endpoints/submitgrouphubrequest returned HTTP 400.

    - The UI showed: "GraphQL Error: 400 Form.graphql.error.requestFailed".

    - The backend response was: {"success":false,"message":"requestPayload with a title is required"}.

    - The submitted payload did contain a non-empty title.

I then reduced the cover image from a 437,059-byte PNG to a 37,893-byte JPEG. This reduced the Base64 JSON payload to approximately 51.5 KB. With the smaller, valid payload, the same endpoint now returns HTTP 403 instead of 400.

There is also a separate frontend failure: the creation page intermittently does not render the form and reports Minified React errors #418 and #423, plus "Failed to execute 'appendChild' on 'Node': Unexpected end of input".

Could the Community Hub team please investigate both the submission endpoint authorization/validation path and the current React rendering failure? I can provide further non-sensitive request details if needed.

I have the same issue, looks it is not personal cased, like nobody now can create any user group. The issue I can not even find where I can submit a case.
