Lots of spam

Hi Folks,

As you will no doubt be aware we have been having some issues with spam of late. We continue to work with the engineering team to identify better, more effective ways to manage spam better. 

Please accept my apologies for the degradation in your experience while we have been working through this.

The amount of spam is now absolutely ridiculous. It's hard to find a 'normal' post amid the endless stream of fake phone number posts! ☹️

Yes I agree, quite a lot of spam and BS. I'd never saw any on the "old" website.
I tend to use Tech Community less than I used to, not only because of spam, but because of bugs and annoying features, that aren't helping me.

No but there has been a uptick in spam recently. We typically don't say too much about our strategies for spam management publicly, for obvious reasons, but obviously with the new platform we are working with new tools and that hasn't helped us in removing it as effectively as normal.

We are already seeing some improvement.
