KB5127694 or KB5127648 has slowed down my WiFi
There were 2 Windows 11 updates yesterday (KB5127694 & KB5127648) and after updating, the Wi-Fi speed on my Asus ROG Strix G16 has slowed down significantly. I uninstalled both and my connection speed went back to where it was. The updates were forced again today and my Wi-fi is slow. I don't see any issues reported or posted on this. I'm not positive the updates are the cause, but this doesn't seem like a coincidence.
Is there any way to prevent these updates from installing or is there a workaround?
Thanks in advance

The slowdown returning after reinstalling the updates is useful evidence, even if it doesn’t identify which update or component is responsible.
For a temporary break, use Settings > Windows Update > Pause updates, then uninstall the updates again if Windows still offers that option. Pausing affects other updates too, so treat it as a short-term workaround.
Before removing them, check Device Manager > Network adapters > your Wi-Fi adapter > Properties > Driver and note the driver version. Also check Windows Update > Update history > Driver updates to see whether a wireless driver was installed around the same time.
If the Wi-Fi driver changed, try Roll Back Driver if available. Otherwise, check ASUS’s support page for your exact G16 model and wireless adapter for a newer supported driver. That may let you keep the Windows fixes without the slowdown.
Please double-check the two KB numbers in Update history and include your winver build and Wi-Fi adapter model in a Feedback Hub report. I can’t confirm a known issue with those KBs from the information here, but your uninstall/reinstall comparison is worth including. Avoid permanently disabling Windows Update.
