Issues attaching files to posts
There have been a few people recently who appear to have had problems that prevented them from posting. Might I suggest you add the steps to post, for those who are new to the forum, to at least reduce the number of apparent failures.

Hey folks,
at some point im going to split off these replies to the community lounge, this post was supposed to have comments turned off as I wasn’t following it.
please if you encounter issues with the community post in the community lounge.
now I’ve seen the comments here I will look into the reported issue and report back.

I made repeated attempts to attach a file with a name that had two spaces in it. They failed. When I removed the spaces (making it a slightly less "friendly" file name) it worked. If THAT technicality is a requirement for attaching files, then this pinned post seems like the place where it should be mentioned.

I just had a file attachment removed after posting a reply here: Practical use of row delimiter with textsplit
Immediately thereafter, though, I edited my reply and re-attached the same file (with the same filename consisting of underscores instead of spaces) and it worked.
So, the filename doesn't appear to be the primary issue after all. 😏

Or, in the three days since I first posted my experience, they may have fixed it. From what I understand, it would have been a fairly simple fix. Either way, we know to use underscores.

Good catch mathetes ! If this indeed turns out to be the source of the file attachment issue that has plagued this forum of late, it seems like something that could easily be corrected by the developers. Standard URL encoding should convert spaces in filenames to %20.
This would also explain why I haven't experienced this issue yet, when so many others have, as I typically use underscores instead of spaces when naming files that will be uploaded to the web.
Hopefully they fix it, though, since major problems like this appear to be driving users and contributors away from this forum.

I had a world of a trouble uploading an .xlsx last week. It appeared to upload without error but then wasn't attached the post. I thought the thunked calculations contained within were too risque!

The problem persists! The workbook appears to upload but does not appear in the final posted version. Code windows and pictures get one so far but, since I only use dynamic array solutions, the OP tends to give up if called to implement a solution.
The other problem I have encountered is responding to a post that shows 0 replies, only to find there are several once I have posted. It would be good to get the issues sorted!
