In Need of help

Hello,

I am trying to figure out who shared a superbowl sheet with me. It has since been deleted and these numbers were there

fc09f9a1-00f2-b000-e8d4-ca3f2fb6248c7787c. Is there a way to find out what they are for. Is it from the sender or is it something on my end. Any help would be appreciated.

  • hi Joseph-Doyle537 Th string is certainly not from the person who shared the sheet.

It looks like a GUID (Globally Unique Identifier) basically a random system-generated ID used by apps like:

    Google Sheets

    Microsoft Excel / OneDrive

    SharePoint

    Dropbox

    Email systems

These IDs are used internally to track files, sharing sessions, or links. They don’t usually contain any readable information about the sender.

    If it was:Google Sheets

Check Gmail for the original share email.

Search: subject:shared or the word “Super Bowl”.
