I'm receiving false notifications about my post being accepted as official answer

This first came to my attention around 1 week ago and ever since it's been happening until now.

thought it would get fixed on its own but it didn't.

it happens when I've commented on a topic that others have also commented on, when the topic creator or OP (original poster) accepts someone else's comment as best answer, I get this notification saying it was my post that got accepted as best answer.

I think it's a bug in the system.

however I'm receiving the correct Email about this notification, because the title of the Email is:

"A reply to a topic you are following has been accepted as a solution!"

so the bug should be isolated in notifications received in MTC website.
