I desperately want to use this forum but the site takes forever to load

Profiles are much slower to load than we would like, especially if your trying to load the profile of someone who is super engaged on the platform (someone like Deleted ).
I have reviewed our aggregated page load times for the last few weeks and the fast majority of the pages load in 1-5 seconds (the biggest outliers were actually users from specific countries which maybe related to country specific firewalls).
The one bit of good news I have for you is we are working on a new update for the platform, which we will share more details shortly, which should speed many pages up significantly.
Allen , it looks like we will have new MTC. Update coming this fall is mentioned in every few answers.
