How to remove Windows Updates

and I don't mean "a" windows update! I want to completely remove the malware integrated into Windows 11 that downloads stuff without my consent and despite my explicit prohibition in all the possible settings. Simply removing wuapihost files makes Windows refuse to boot.

You generally can't completely remove Windows Update from Windows 11 without breaking parts of the operating system. Many system components depend on update-related services, which is why deleting files can cause boot issues. If your goal is to stop automatic downloads, you may have better luck using Group Policy settings (on Pro editions), setting your connection as metered, or disabling specific update services, although Windows has a habit of re-enabling some of them after major updates. Completely removing the update system isn't really a supported option and usually creates more problems than it solves.
