How does MS Dynamics 365 work?
I'm looking into ERPs for my small business to integrate, and I'm curious about how Dynamics works.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Lilo, thank you for posting in the community. How big is your business? And what sector are you in? Your response may change my answer below..
Nevertheless, usually we recommend Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as an affordable comprehensive ERP system - it combines Sales, Marketing, Finance Operations, Cash and Bank management and supply chain features all in one software package.
In terms of how it works: standard configurations for most business processes are built in, and then you can customise them to suit your needs. All you need to get started is a license - but you can also try the product for free on a trial basis.
You will probably find this website really useful: Business Central | Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions, or if you would like to organise some training. I am happy to help.

Hey Lilo!
Great question - and yeah, like the previous reply mentioned, knowing your business size and industry would definitely help me give you better advice.
That said, I'll echo what was said about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. It's honestly a solid choice if you're looking for something that covers the full spectrum - sales, finance, inventory, the whole nine yards - without breaking the bank.
What I like about it is that it's not a "start from scratch" situation. A lot of the common business workflows are already baked in, so you're not reinventing the wheel. You just tweak things to fit how you actually work. And if you're not ready to commit, there's a free trial you can mess around with to see if it clicks for you.

If you've got specific questions about setup, training, or whether this is even the right fit for what you're doing, feel free to shoot me a message. Happy to chat through it.
