It's great to have you here. Thirty years of C++ experience and working across so many UNIX and Linux environments is an incredible journey. I'm sure you'll have plenty of valuable insights to share with the community.

If you're planning to explore Azure, one of the best places to start is Microsoft Learn. It's free, hands-on, and has learning paths for everything from Azure basics to more advanced topics:

I'd also recommend checking out the Azure documentation whenever you're building or experimenting:

Cloud concepts can feel different at first, but your background in C++, UNIX, Linux, and Windows will give you a solid foundation. Enjoy the learning process, ask questions, and don't hesitate to share your experience. communities like this grow because people contribute what they've learned.

Welcome aboard, and looking forward to seeing you around!
