Exploring Microsoft Fabric with ADLs/Azure Databricks

Hello! Community,

 

I am Shivanna Gundanavar and I’ve recently started exploring Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and Azure networking concepts.

I created a small architecture experiment to understand:

Private connectivity

Secure data flow

Azure networking

Integration between Fabric and Databricks

 

I’m sharing my learning journey as I continue exploring Microsoft technologies and cloud architecture.

    Your focus areas - private connectivity, secure data flow, and integration patterns - are especially important because they become critical in real-world enterprise implementations.

    Fabric + Databricks is an interesting combination since many organizations are currently evaluating:

    • Lakehouse architectures
    • OneLake integration patterns
    • Private networking/security boundaries
    • Governance and data sharing approaches

    Building small architecture experiments like this is honestly one of the best ways to learn cloud technologies beyond just documentation.

      I truly appreciate your support and guidance. While exploring Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and Azure networking, I realized how important areas like private connectivity, governance, and secure data integration are in real-world enterprise scenarios.

      Your points about Lakehouse architectures, OneLake integration, and security boundaries gave me additional direction to continue learning deeper into these technologies.
