editing posts and messages
Is it possible to edit my own posts after posting? Also is there a method to edit private messages?
Hello!
You have the ability to delete your own comments and posts.
However, once a post has a reply, you can no longer delete it, because you would also delete the reply. Only moderators and community managers can delete posts with replies.
You cannot edit a private message once you have sent it.

You can certainly edit your own posts afterwards, I do that all the time when I spot a typo or something else. It should be available from the drop-down menu alongside the post:

Sorry for the confusion, you're correct. I could not find a method to delete a post. I also could not find a method to edit a private message.
