Displaying unread messages

Most collaboration platforms are designed to show the full conversation history in each channel so you don’t lose context, but there are features to help you focus only on what’s new. You can use the Unread filter or activity feed to see only messages you haven’t read yet, rely on channel bolding or indicators that highlight where new posts are, or use shortcuts and search filters (like is:unread) to cycle through unread content quickly. While you can’t usually hide read messages entirely, these tools let you zero in on just the unread items without missing the bigger picture.
