Device Identifiers - for what them?

Perhaps that info appeared earlier, but I find it only now (Settings->Personal Information). Have a lot of IP addresses which have been used. Working from within corporate environment and with VPN outside of it I have no idea which IP addresses are shown on another end. What's the practical reason to show that information?
