Design Mode in Developer Tab is Greyed out
I'm trying to create a fill-in form, but after clicking on the Developer tab, the Design Mode tab is unclickable. Can't figure out how to make it clickable in order to create a form. Any help would b...
If Design Mode is greyed out in Word’s Developer tab, first check whether the document is in Protected View or Read-Only mode. Also make sure you’re using the desktop version of Microsoft Word, as some Developer features aren’t available in Word for the web.
If you’re creating a fill-in form, you can also check whether the Developer tab and Content Controls are properly enabled under Word Options.
