Dark window not showing - 25H2 build 26220.5770
hi fabry_rf I assume you have tried all below options , if not, pl do so , if yes, raise it with Microsoft.
File feedback via Feedback Hub (Win + F) so Microsoft tracks it.
a.Verify Theme Settings
- Go to Settings → Personalization → Colors
- Under Choose your mode, set to Dark.
- Also check Choose your default app mode and Windows mode (both should be Dark if you want full dark).
b.Check High Contrast / Accessibility
- In Settings → Accessibility → Contrast themes, ensure no contrast theme is applied.
- Sometimes Insider builds flip back to light UI if a contrast theme is active.
c.Restart Explorer
- Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc, open Task Manager.
- Find Windows Explorer → Restart.
- This often refreshes theme rendering after switching modes.
d.Update Graphics Drivers
- Outdated display drivers can prevent proper theming.
- Run Windows Update → Optional Updates or update from Intel/NVIDIA/AMD directly.
Hello Surya_Narayana
a. The theme is set to Dark:
b. Any high contrast theme is active:
c. Already restarted lot of time with no change.
d. There isn't any new update available for my video card.
Any idea of other tests that I can do?
Thank you

Hey fabry_rf Looks like, Microsoft notes in some 25H2 Insider build release notes that theme inconsistencies (e.g., white backgrounds despite dark mode) are being tracked as known issues. In such cases, it may resolve in the next cumulative update.
Parallelly you can raise a tkt
