Thanks for posting, and please accept my apologies that I haven’t replied before now. In the thread you have correctly identified that the ‘issue you need to correct’ is the invalid html. Now where this falls down is the system assumes it’s something you have put in to the editor. In truth it could have got there for many reasons, however the three most common reasons are:
- You copy and pasted content from somewhere else (Microsoft Word, another website etc)
- You use Microsoft Editor, the editor changes the html in the editor window to let it highlight, underline or display information to help you improve the grammar and spelling of your post.
- You use Grammarly, for the same reasons as above
Now there are other reasons this can occur, however, these are the ones we see the most. We have spoken to the Microsoft Editor team and we will work to resolve this in the future.

And for the record I've done none of those. That was the whole point. All texts were entered directly, and the only formatting that was done was done using the tool bar in THIS forum. These things:
I don't understand how Safari could be a factor, although I'll accept that assertion, but I want you to understand that from the point of view of this user, it's this system telling itself that an error has been made.
Also for the record, it hasn't happened recently, and I'm not losing sleep over it anyway....nor should you. But I do want you to hear the experience of this user because I doubt I'm the only one.

Thank you for the follow up, unfortunately I am unsure how that error would occur from using the built in buttons or how it would have changed recently. To give you some insight the editor, and its associated buttons, have had no changes made to it since we enabled the new code syntax highlighter a couple of years ago.
I do appreciate you giving us this extra insight and I will try to do some testing and duplicate what you have reported, obviously if I find anything I can duplicate I will of course share back here what the cause was and if there is anything we or you can do to work around it.
Many Thanks
Allen
