can not paste to publisher from ms word

Friends , I have MS Word 2021 and MS OFFICE 2015 simultaneously working on my laptop. for the last few days I can not copy and paste to publisher from MS Word. FROM NOTEPAD TO PUBLISHER IT CAN BE DONE/ WE CALLED HELP. THEY COULD NOT SOLVE IT AND REFERRED US TO TECH COMMUNITY
