After enrolling the device to intune Android Studio Emulator not working

  • hi Kawaljit Microsoft Intune does NOT support enrollment of Android Virtual Devices (AVDs) or emulators.

Only physical Android devices or Android Enterprise–compatible devices are supported.

    Workarounds

Use a physical Android device (recommended)

For development + Intune testing, this is the only fully supported scenario.

Use an Android Emulator without Intune enrollment

If you only need to test your app, do not enroll the virtual device.

Use "Company Portal" in App Protection Policy (APP) mode

Instead of device enrollment, you can test app protection only.

      Steps:

      Do not enroll the emulator.

      Install Company Portal.

      Log into your test user.

Ensure the user is targeted with App Protection Policies (MAM).

This works because MAM does not require full device management.

Use Microsoft Intune Test Devices (Cloud-based test)

You can simulate compliance and configuration in Intune without using an emulator:

Intune > Devices > Device Simulation (Preview)

(If your tenant has it enabled.)
