About Private Message and file in attach
Is anyone aware of any kind of known issues related to inability to receive a file that should have been added as an attach to a PM I received 2 days ago ?

Thanks for your suggestion, but I believe you said so before Allen update and because of it, now I also think doing more related tests might just be a waste of time.
P.S. Anyway, JFYI same user that via PM initially confirmed me, he added an attachment including a .TXT (plus at least 2 more .EXEs I was expecting), in a later PM he too said he could no more access same .ZIP file he adde either, so this may also indeed mean that so far only some more privileged user account types might be able to upload/download attachments (& also just like per my current understanding of Allen update).

JFYI too, since I was also not really confirmed this before, after initial PM I received I assumed that attached file should have been a .ZIP one (with at least 3 files, 2 .exe + 1 readme.txt inside), so ITMT & possibly try to further speed things, I've also already asked my same contact to try to be so kind to also upload same content into a new shared OneDrive folder I prepared (and that I already confirmed him). 😇

A PM in the platform?
We don't allow allot of file types to be shared in the community, some users can't even attach files at all.- SwimmeRMIron Contributor

many thanks for your update. Yes, a PM.
FYI I never knew it was indeed possible to send or receive them too, but I was able to read those I received so far (& then also reply accordingly) after accessing them via Inbox icon displayed on upper right side of involved MS TechCommunity (it's 3rd one from right, same one typically also showing #s of unread messages).
What's more while writing my own PM replies I also noticed that a 'paper clip' icon for adding an attachment (and so also labeled as 'Attachment') was also shown among other icons in same lower small ribbon that also contained other format editing icons also available when writing this reply, and so when I tried to use it, it showed me an MS Edge Open file dialog also showing me on right side which might have been allowed 'Custom files' types (mainly some of graphic type but also containing *.jfif;...;.zip;...;.webp that is also listed twice just like some other few preceding file types too).
Because so far it also seems (at least when reading PMs) that no real UI is shown for downloading a previously uploaded attachment added by another user (and then same user who told me he added one attachment, then also later confirmed me he too was unable to access same .ZIP uploaded file, same I initially had assumed to be a .ZIP type onejust because of the at least 3 expected files I anticipated in my 1st reply this same question/topic and even if he initially simply told me that one .TXT was present) so I simply avoided doing any more tests by my side and just decided to ask more about possibly doing it here.
Ok, so if my understanding of your reply is correct, then this also means that effectively adding at least one attachment (and then also have proper access to its download UI) would indeed require an MS TechCommunity user to have some additional privileges that may only be available for some specific user account types. Am I right ? 😇
