800-thousand Members in MTC - excellent!

We are pretty proud of our community and how its grown. We are however planning to change the metrics we show at the bottom. While interesting how many members we have collected over time, we are currently planning to show how many "Active Members". This metric would be:
Number of members have visited and logged into the community at least once in the last 30 days.
We feel this will be a better measure for the community to see rather than just total members. This change is not locked in yet but once it is we will be sure to update the community on the changes.

By the way, what is number of members actually means? I see that new ID:s are far above one million, whom you deduct in calculations?
