You can do all of this in a SharePoint website using Stream. However, if someone has a YouTube channel, there is a YouTube web part available out of the box that can be leveraged to display YouTube videos. You don't need Tagembed for anything on your website if you use the SharePoint and Stream tools available to you. . . unless you are referencing a public facing website that is hosted on another platform that is. It is unclear in your article although it is here in the Microsoft community where I would expect the focus to be on SharePoint sites.
