Moving a student from one class notebook to another

When you want to move a student from one class notebook to another, using right click>Move,

how do you re assign permissions so that  the student can access it properly in the other class?

Or do you have to add them to another class, (with manage notebook> add student) then copy their existing stuff into the newly created section?
