Class notebook for a large team (200 students)

In addition to creating Teams/Class Notebooks for each individual teaching group, we were considering creating a Maths Hub team that every maths student would belong to. This team would have approximately 200 students.

Does anyone have experience with a class notebook with a team of this size? Will the syncing and page distribution be problematic for students/staff who belong to this team?
