My First Answer: Migrate Classic sites to Modern as soon as possible. Talk to business, force them to understand, that they should not have Classic sites anymore. There is no hard stop for Classic site, but you are loosing several productivity features. Is there a time line to retire SharePoint online library classic experience? - Microsoft Q&A
