Why I cannot edit in the "New Query 1" pane?
This week I cannot edit in the New Query 1 pane in Microsoft Sentinel | Logs. Not sure if I was missed in some roles or is it an MS issue or bug?
Not 100% sure but it seems to be a bug. Have you tried to query from the Log Analytics Workspace instead Sentinel?
