Cannot get non-azure VM:s into Connection Monitor or NPM

Hi!

I'm struggling to get my on premise log analytics-enabled VM:s to show up in Connection Monitor (under Network Watcher).

I have a bunch of VM:s correctly reporting to Azure Monitor for VM:s, and I have enabled Network Watcher in the same region as my Workspace is located. But I can not get the on premise VM:s to show up under "Non-Azure endpoints" in Connection Monitor. The help text says "Select from a list of on-premises hosts with Log Analytics agent installed." but the list is completely empty.

I've also tried to enable the legacy Network Performance Monitor Solution on the Workspace, but this also comes up empty; no information of any network/subnet/node is showing up.

Any suggestions as to what I am missing would be very helpful!
