Application Insights vs Azure Web App Analytics

If I have all my Azure web applications set up to use Application Insights, and I have those metrics also integrated into OMS via the Application Insights Connector, is there any added visibility or benefit to also using the Azure Web App Analytics solution?

 

It seems that Application Insights should cover all visibility provided by Azure Web App Analytics plus more. Is this accurate?

    Yes, it is accurate. App Insights provides you a much richer visibility into Web App behavior.

    BTW, you may not need to use connector any more, you can query across Log Analytics and App Insights data
