WAF - Redirect

Hi,

What is the Best practice in terms WAF with Redirect. I've My App-GW with App accessed with http (listener1) and https (Listener2). with Listener1 being redirected to Listener2 . The idea is to implement URI based WAF . So , I'm planning to disable WAF at the Listener 1 and take care of WAF tuning at Listener2.
