If Azure Virtual WAN is global . then why it asks for region to deploy.

While Azure Virtual WAN is global, the resources that it is made of are still deployed in a specific region. This is because the performance and latency of the network connection between your branch locations and the Azure Virtual WAN resources can be affected by the geographic distance between the resources and the branch locations. Therefore, it is recommended to choose a region that is closest to your branch locations to optimize the network performance.
