Deploying the Azure Migrate appliance in an Azure virtual machine (VM) is not a supported configuration for assessing on-premises servers. The Azure Migrate appliance is designed to be deployed within the on-premises environment where the servers to be assessed are located. This is because the appliance needs direct access to the on-premises network to discover and analyze servers effectively.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply, is there a document form MS states the same, if we have a Site to Site VPN or Express Route then i think there should not be any issue right.
