'Agent is configured to different Configuration server' message when registering the source server

Today I started the migration process of a server hosted in a third party hypervisor solution (treated as physical on Azure Migrate). Discovery and assessment went fine. Installation of the Mobility service agent was problematic but easily fixed. But then I came across the 'Agent is configured to different Configuration server' error when registering the source server to the migrate appliance.

After some digging I managed to get to the other side:

1. On C:\ProgramData\ASRSetupLogs\ASRUnifiedAgentConfigurator.txt I found the following message:

07:35:36:C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Azure Site Recovery\agent\Application Data\etc\drscout.conf file exists.
07:35:36:Configuration server IP in drscout.conf: 10.106.101.8

My replication appliance (Configuration and Process Server) IP is 10.30.101.101.

2. On the C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Azure Site Recovery\agent\Application Data\etc\drscout.conf I found:

CSIPforTelemetry=10.106.101.8
Hostname=10.106.101.8

I changed those two lines to 10.30.101.101 and executed the registration again.

This time the registration completed just fine!

I have no idea where that 10.106.101.8 came from...
