Publishing Lab is taking days not hours

Hi nicolehaugen I am having the same situation, I already opened a support case, while I get an answer, I would like to make a try to "moving to a different region" as you mention in your response, how can I do that? When I check the Lab Account in Azure Portal the region is read only. So, perhaps, do you mean create another Lab Account in other region, instead of moving the actual one?

  Daniel Villacis Paul-Greening nicolehaugen I am also experiencing the same issues creating a template virtual machine. After an hour i'm still at the "This can take up to 20 minutes." stage.

    almmechanics my issue was that I had the auto shutdown configured as part of the template, which is not supported for linux (Ubuntu in my case). Once I remove that setting, it deployed the VM's in about 30 minutes. Hope this helps.
