Changing a lab's settings fails

I changed one of my lab's settings to not auto disconnect and shut down after 15 minutes of inactivity on each setting so that I could update my template without it shutting off on me.  After publishing the template, I went to change the settings back, and now every time I try to turn on the "Shut down virtual machines when users disconnect" setting, it tries for a few seconds, then gives the error of "An error occurred while updating lab settings. Please refresh the page and try again."  I've been trying for four hours now, and it will not go through.  Any advice or help will be appreciated.
