Cannot connect to VM tepmlate
The VM template is turned on:
However, when I connect via RDP, it looks like the VM is turned off.

Hi all,
Sometimes you will need to wait a few extra minutes after a VM is started to successfully connect using RDP - this is one reason why you could be seeing this error.
If you continue to see this issue, I recommend logging a support ticket so that the engineering team can look at the lab closer to understand the root cause.

Nicole- Meanwhile I think, there is possibly a reboot due to updates - than the few extra minutes can be too few.
