Adding multiple Virtual Machine on Update manager maintenance configuration

Team,

I have just installed AUM and in middle of adding multiple virtual machine to maintenance configuration(MC). Can someone please let me know if there is any automated process that can add few sets of VMs to  update manager configuration manager out of 5000 VM.

I don't want to go and select few set of server manually and add to maintenance configuration because in reality it is not possible to select few servers out of 5000 and the add to MC.
