Azure Communications on .net framework

I want to create a chat feature for my app where i use .netframework 4.8 MVC 5 . Is Azure signalR a good solution?? also how can i handle chat history with azure or mssql?

agiurg Thank you very much, I see chat data are saved for 90 days . Is it possible to save them for a year or more?

giakara We are coming out with an API that will enable you to set the retention on a chat thread early next year, so yes it will be possible. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
