The differentiator for a lab deployment with a proxy is not the one checkbox to use a proxy, but it is to understand how to deploy this as a solution in your lab, so you need :
a) Background on "What is a proxy?"
b) How to deploy a Proxy in a homelab? You could use i.e. this https://hartiga.de/tools/tinyproxy-on-hyper-v-new-ubuntu-24-04/.
c) How to configure Azure Arc onboarding manually and with a script using a proxy.
