Migrating ATA -> MDI. Loss of important functionality
Hi,
We are in process of migrating our onprem ATA to MDI but notice a lack of some important features.
The most crucial is group membership changes. This is extremely useful and has saved us many times in the past.
I am unable to find group membership changes in MDI.
In ATA is easy to search for a group, check its membership history and by who the changes were done.

Is this functionality still in MDI? If so, where?
Best Regards
- The native portal is https://portal.atp.azure.com
It looks very similar to ATA... Since you are familiar with ATA you will navigate there more easily.
security.microsoft.com is the new unified one (which will eventually replace the native one which will be deprecated).
So working with the new one eventually is advised, but it does not have 100% of the features just yet.

- Or TsemahFormer EmployeeHi Tony, I'm Or from the product team, while we are working on providing additional group search functionality in the portal, the group membership activities are part of the advanced hunting feature of the security.microsoft.com which, although different than the classic experience, provides much more.
I'd like to hear more about missing features from that portal, feel free to contact me directly- tony87Copper ContributorHi Or, sent you a message.

We have the same functionality, and if using the native portal of MDI, its is actually at the same profile page and looks very similar. if you are missing those events and did not filter them out I suggest to open a support case to make sure data is collected correctly by the sensors.- tony87Copper Contributor
EliOfek Hi Eli, thank you for your response.
I am quite new to MDI but I guess we are using the native portal which is https://security.microsoft.com
When searching for groups in the top search bar, it does not find any of them.Or am I looking in the wrong place?
Do you have an example screenshot / url by any chance?
Will open a ticket if needed.
Thanks!
