VSTest@2 Task expands command line when vstestLocation Argument is used

We have Azure Devops 2020 on premise installed. When the VSTest@2 task is used and the 

vstestLocation and vstestLocationMethod: location arguments are  specified, instead of generating a text file with the names of the binaries and use that as an argument to the command, the whole list is expanded next to the command. This causes a  ##[error]Error: spawn ENAMETOOLONG if the names of the binaries are too long.
