VPN Within VM Solution Needed

Hi Folks,

Have recently started a MS Azure trial and created a VM, to assess its possible usage as virtual machines for staff within the insurance company I work for.

Presently, my test VM running windows 10 pro can only be accessed by Google chrome Remote Desktop,  when it is connected to our meraki vpn using built in windows vpn client

(Layer 2 Tunnelling Protocol with IPsec)

My question to the community is this... can some form of VPN split tunnelling be configured or something to achieve the same result?  Rather not use this route, as its tedious to configure!

Was hoping for an internal Azure process which would allow an RDP connection to connect to the Azure VM and furthermore access our office resources, such as shared networks, apps etc without having to rely on google chrome Remote Desktop to connect to the machine.

I might add that RDP'ng to the VPN connected Azure VM is achievable if the client machine is also connected to the same VPN, however this is something I wish to avoid if at all possible.
