Themes & Initiatives are not showing up in Delivery Plan

Hello,
I'm struggling with showing up Themes & Initiatives in a Delivery Plan and in particular showing them for a particular time period (Iteration).
I can create a Delivery Plan and show Features, Epics from Start to End Date. Ok, easy, done.
But I'm really struggling when I have to do the same for Themes and Initiatives - sometimes they're showing up but I can't control the Time period, e.g. showing a Theme lasting from Feb. 1st - Dec. 31st.
I’ve created particular Iterations but with very limited success - the result seems to be arbitrary.
How could that be achieved? Solution would be very, very much appreciated!

    MichaelH1755 hi!

    For me, the problem was caused by using "End Date" instead of "Target Date" for the Initiative. Right after setting the Target Date, the Initiative appears on the respective Delivery Plan.
