SAP User driven provisioning with a Hybrid Azure AD and MIM2016
Hi All,
I am hoping that someone can assist with an architectural challenge I have been looking into.
We currently use Microsoft Identity Manager 2016 to manage our Hybrid Azure AD setup. All user information are populated from SAP SuccessFactors into MIM 2016 at present. We are however interested in decommissioning out MIM2016 setup gradually in the near future and are looking at other recommended architectures for SAP Integration with a Hybrid Azure AD configuration.
I can see that Microsoft has documented a solution for integrating SAP SuccessFactor with AzureAD. (As seen here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/saas-apps/sap-successfactors-inbound-provisioning-tutorial)
My concern/ question here is will Azure ADConnect and MIM2016 not conflict with the above solution?
We have a large number of OnPrem legacy service that still use OnPrem AD and are reliant on the Management of Groups via MIM 2016. Is there anyway for these solutions to coexist without them conflicting?
I would be really grateful in hearing from anyone who has experience with this form of migration?
