Removing time in schedule kanban board

Can you please guide on how to remove the time in kanban board? I only want the date itself and it seems that it is not also possible in the process settings.

    Hi jonathan0202,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to remove the time from the kanban board in the process settings. However, there are a few workarounds that you can use:

    1. Use a custom field. You can create a custom field to store the date only for each task. Then, you can add this custom field to your kanban board and hide the default date and time fields.
    2. Use a different view. The calendar view in Jira Software allows you to see your tasks grouped by date only. You can switch to the calendar view by clicking the Calendar icon in the top right corner of your kanban board.

If you are using a custom field, here are the steps on how to remove the time from the kanban board:

    1. Go to Jira Settings > Issues > Custom Fields.
    2. Create a new custom field with the following settings:
      • Field type: Date
      • Field name: Date Only
      • Editable: Yes
      • Visible on issue screens: Yes
    3. Click Create.
    4. Go to your kanban board.
    5. Click the Configure button.
    6. Click the Columns tab.
    7. Under Add columns, select Custom field > Date Only.
    8. Click Add.
    9. Drag and drop the Date Only column to the desired position on your kanban board.
    10. Click Save.

To hide the default date and time fields, follow these steps:

    1. Go to Jira Settings > Issues > Field Configurations.
    2. Click the Edit button next to the field configuration that is used by your kanban board.
    3. Under Fields, select the Date and time fields and click Remove.
    4. Click Save.

This will help others to find the correct solution easily. It also closes the item.
