Partially move files and git history to new project

I want to move some files and their histories from repo_1 to repo_2. I have seen the guide https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/devops/repos/git/move-git-repos-between-team-projects?view=azure-devops but that looks like it copies all files and their histories. Is there a way to select only a few files?
