My path to becoming a Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer Associate AZ-500

Hi Azure Security Friends,

I am often asked there are “Performance based” questions on the exam. What are “performance based”? These are tasks that you have to solve on the exam in a demo environment.

From my point of view, it does not matter whether the exam contains “performance-based” questions or not. Do not study the learning content, but learn the exam content with practical examples, which you then solve in the Azure Portal, Azure CLI or PowerShell. Then you are well prepared for the «performance based» questions. In all honesty, I always hope I get performance-based questions.

Now we move on to my checklist:

1. Read through the skills measured at your leisure

4. Create a free Azure account, if you don't already have one, so that you can do all the exercises in a hands-on manner

5. Register for the exam early. This creates some pressure and you stay motivated

6. Practice, practice, practice ... with examples from the Microsoft Azure documentation portal and the Microsoft Learning pages:
