Managed Service Vs MSP

In documentation, I came across "managed service" when there is a definiton of a particular service. For example, "Azure App Service - A managed service for hosting web apps, mobile app back ends, RESTful APIs, or automated business processes." and "Azure Spring Cloud - A managed service designed and optimized for hosting Spring Boot apps." 

And there is another concept of "MSP - Managed Service Providers". I am not sure both talks about same thing. Also, would like to understand more on what exactly meaning of managed service?
