How do I remove landing zone created from ARM template

Hi All,

I created a landing zone from an ARM template (enterprise-scale for small enterprises), which can be found https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cloud-adoption-framework/ready/landing-zone/implementation-options. Since then, I deleted all the management groups, but I still see some residuals such as 'metric alert rule,' 'log analytics workspace,' etc.

How do I go about removing everything that was created from the ARM template and ensure nothing is left behind?

Many thanks,

James.

  • I've worked this out. Got a response from another forum which pointed me to the right direction to delete other components created by ARM template. Thanks for looking into this.

I thought it is quite hard to remove the landing zone component from ARM template, what is your purpose for the template?

Kidd_IpOriginally, it was just a mock setup to see what the landing page would look like from a template. After everything was set up, I realised it wasn’t meeting our requirements and high-level design, so I removed the management groups. It turns out there were other components set up by the ARM template that I would like to remove. However, figuring out exactly what was created by the template is difficult for someone with my entry-level knowledge of Azure.
