Entra ID Service not running?
hello everyone, we get a notification on our email that the Entra ID Sync service is not running, while it is set to automatic. then 30 minutes later, at the next scheduled sync, it resolves itself...
Check Service Dependencies:
Even though the Entra ID Sync service is set to "Automatic", it's possible that a dependent service or process is causing the service to stop. Verify the dependencies for the Entra ID Sync service and make sure that all related services are running and set to automatic as well.
To check service dependencies:
Open Services (services.msc).
Locate Entra ID Sync.
Right-click and select Properties.
Go to the Dependencies tab to view which services depend on Entra ID Sync and which services are required by it.
